  • Dr. Seuss Day

On Monday, March 2, 2015, BCS elementary schools will participate in the nation’s largest literacy event, National Education Association's (NEA) Read Across America program. The program celebrates Dr. Seuss’s birthday by getting kids excited about reading.  Special guests will read to the students and hand out Dr. Seuss pencils and bookmarks.  Research shows the more kids read, the better they’ll do.  So grab your hat and read with the Cat!
