    Spring Break is the week of April 17th through April 21st.  
    Students return to school on Monday,April 24th.

  • Kindergarten Registration

    2017-2018 school year

    Date:  Friday, April 28th

    Time: 8:00-2:00 pm.

    To register for kindergarten, a child must be five years of age by August 31, 2017.  You will need:

    *a certified birth certificate obtained from the State Registrar Vital Registration Office (hospital or county birth certificates are not acceptable)

    * Social Security Card

    * Immunization records for:  DPT (series of 4,  one given after age 4), Polio (series of 3, one given after age 4), MMR (2 doses, the 1st given on or after the first birthday and the 2nd at least one month later), Varicella (2 doses, the 1st on or after the first birthday and the 2nd at least three months later), Hep B (series of 3, third is not valid if administered before 6 months of age).

    * Copies of physical from 5 year well child exam and 5 year Dental Check up.

    * Proof of residency – an electric, phone or similar bill that shows your current address.

    Students currently enrolled in Pre-K in Berkeley County Schools will only be responsible for bringing updated immunizations and proof of residency. 

    Please call the school at 267-3550 to schedule a time to enroll your child.

    2nd Grade Spring Concert 

     When: Thursday, May 4, 2017

    Please arrive by 5:45 pm to line up for 6:00 pm performance         

           Where: Opequon Elementary School Cafeteria

    What: Clean casual clothing with appropriate shoes to stand on risers.

     Students are welcome to dress up if they prefer.
