Meet the Counselors
Stephanie Kersten, M.A.Ed. I’m thrilled to be working with the students at Hedgesville Middle School! I have a Master’s of Education in school counseling from American Public University. I also have a Bachelor’s degree from Liberty University in Psychology. I moved to Martinsburg in 2012 from Ashton IL where I lived in the middle of cornfields on a 5 acre farm. I’m a wife and mother of two teenagers ages 15 and 18. I enjoy finding places to adventure with my family, and listening to a variety of music! As a school counselor I will help all students to reach goals academically, socially, and become career focused. I look forward to working with the students, parents, and staff here at Hedgesville Middle School. Mrs. Kersten can be reached by e-mail at Stephanie.Kersten@K12.WV.US.
