Señora Apolinar

¡Hola! I’m Ms. Apolinar, or as some of my students call me, Señora Apolinar.

I teach Spanish I to 8th grade students and Foreign Language Exploratory to 7th grade students. I have been teaching for 12 years. My first 6 years I taught Spanish I and a combination of Special Education resource and collaborative classes. This year makes my sixth year at Spring Mills Middle. Go Patriots!

I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching Spanish from Shepherd University. My Bachelor degree was in Criminal Justice and Spanish from West Liberty University near Wheeling, WV.

When I first graduated from college, I worked for the U.S. Department of State in Tijuana, Mexico for 3 months at the Consulate General. I’ve also spent two entire summers with my son’s family in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico.

I hope that my students have a passion for learning another language and culture when they leave my classroom!
