    I am the itinerant school counselor. I provide services for both Berkeley Heights Elementary and Orchard View Intermediate Schools. My schedule for Berkeley Heights Elementary is Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday mornings. I look forward to serving the students, parents, and staff of Berkeley Heights Elementary School.

    My name is Tammy Tucker I have been a School Counselor here at Berkeley Heights for over 18 years.  I have a Masters in Counseling from WVU-LPC. I am married with 2 daughters. I am a native of Martinsburg. In my spare time I enjoy playing tennis and pickle ball. Before my employment with Berkeley Heights I was employed with Grafton School for 18 years.

    The school counseling program at Berkeley Heights Elementary is designed to provide a safe, supportive atmosphere where students can attain personal/social, academic and career success through a collaborative partnership with other educators, families, and the community.

    We work hand in hand to nurture the physical, emotional, and intellectual dimensions that enhance life-long learning and foster a positive self-esteem that leads to becoming productive members of our community. 

    Vision Statement

    Berkeley Heights Elementary students will acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to maximize their full potential and successfully reach their full potential while managing their lives as healthy, responsible, competent, and productive citizens.

    The School Counseling program focuses on the West Virginia Student Success Standards. Students will learn how to increase interpersonal and social skills, refine learning and work.
