Mrs. Emmons

Mrs Jessica Emmons was born and raised in Florida then moved to Morgan County, WV in 2004. In 2008 she earned a Bachelors in Science at Shepherd University; majoring in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics. She taught as a substitute teacher for 3 years in Morgan County, WV before deciding to pursue another degree. She fell in love with Spring Mills High School when student teaching here in the Spring of 2016 while attending Shepherd University for her Masters of the Arts in Teaching; which she earned in May 2016. This is her 2nd year teaching at Spring Mills High School and is excited to be joining the STEAM program!!  This year, she will be teaching STEAM Chemistry, Forensics, and Physical Science.

Mrs. Emmons prides herself in helping those around her and giving back to the community. She has served as a Girl Scout Leader for teen girls, a Softball Coach, a youth group volunteer at church, Fundraiser Committee Chair, Boy Scouts Committee member, and Robotics First Lego League Mentor Coach for an All-Girls 1st Place Championship team!!!

She is also the sponsor for the Robotics Club here at Spring Mills High School!! If you are interested in electronics and robots they would love to have you.
