The Berkeley County Board of Education is seeking to hire contract services for a Clerk-of-the-Works
Responsibilities: Observe work being performed by contractors at the construction site in accordance with the construction contract documents and SBA guidelines. Attend project meetings as the Berkeley County Schools Representative, monitor construction progress, and maintain records as directed.
Minimum Qualifications: Architectural or engineering degree or equivalent knowledge and experience with WV inspection codes and standards in commercial or industrial construction. Must have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all phases of nonresidential construction and be capable of evaluating construction.
Preferred 3-years practical experience as a supervisor, foreman or clerkof-the-works for non-residential construction projects.

The Board of Education of the County of Berkeley, Martinsburg, WV, will receive sealed bids by written proposal for mowing and trimming at the listed locations. The sealed bids will be accepted until 1:30 pm, on March 5, 2020, at the office of the Berkeley County Board of Education Office, 1453 Winchester Avenue, Martinsburg, WV 25405, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on February 27th, 2020, 1:30 P.M at the Maintenance Building, 728 S. Raleigh Street, Martinsburg, WV. To be eligible for final bidding, attendance at this meeting is required.
