Transportation Dashboard

  • During the school year, Berkeley County Schools has more than 234 buses on the road transporting more than 17,000 students to and from school each day. The department's 300+ employees travel more than 3 million miles annually. From time-to-time, it may be necessary to substitute a bus on a route or make route schedule adjustments. To help keep you informed, these changes will be made available via the Transportation Dashboard.

Dear BCS Families...

  • BCS bus routes are being affected by bus operator shortages. Please accept our apologies as we work through bus operator vacancies and canceled/adjusted routes unable to transport students to and from school.

    If you are able, we encourage parents/caregivers to transport student(s) to and from school. If you are unable to transport your student to their school site, please contact your school by calling the office and/or by using Schoology, Seesaw to access school assignments.

    Absences will be marked excused if due to a cancelled bus route.
