    Seniors are encouraged to apply to college and also submit their FAFSA over the holiday break.  
      
     
    Varsity Club is collecting donations for the Humane Society in the concession stand December 2nd-18th. They are greatly in need of any cleaning or pet supplies. Donations will help needy animals and will also help your class win spirit points for the spring spirit week.
                 
     
    The MuHS History Scholars will be hosting the Toys for Tots toy drive this year. Bring any new toy and drop it in the box outside of Room 101.
         
     
    Any sophomore that has a talent in writing, dancing, theatre, music, or visual arts can spend an unforgettable summer at Marshall University.  The Governor's School for the Arts is now accepting applications online.  This is open to current 10th grade students and the application is due by December 16.  See the Counseling Office for information on how to apply.
     
     
    The YYGS application is open, and we are actively recruiting interested students in grades 10 or 11  from all around the world.  You are invited to join us at Yale this coming July! Experience life as a university student at Yale's Old Campus while attending an academic session of your choosing. Sessions are offered in the humanities, social sciences, STEM, and a new cross-disciplinary track that incorporates all of the above. Regular Decision deadline to apply is January 15.
