Bible Club- Ms Miller 5th Period

Bible Club is a school group that welcomes anyone.  Our club gatherings are a wonderful time and place for Christians, and those who want to learn about Christ, to have fellowship and gain knowledge about the Word of God.  We have local youth pastors come in to speak and sometimes we plan our own Bible lessons.  Every year we gather Christmas gifts for a family in need at our school and for children in different countries that live in poverty.  This year we plan to incorporate more prayer and service into our club.

Relay For Life- Mrs Jarrett 3rd Period

The main goal of the Relay for Life club here at Musselman is fundraising and awareness.  We raise money all year long for American Cancer Society through "Hat Days", various raffles, "Relay Feet", face/hand painting at basketball games, membership dues, individual fundraising, spirit bead necklace sales during spirit weeks, Pie a teacher in the Face in the spring and t-shirt sales.  We do community service as well for the school when asked and by making cards or gifts for cancer patients at treatment centers.  It all culminates the first Saturday in June every year with the Berkeley County Relay for Life event at Martinsburg High football field.  Our members stayed up 18 hours to show their support!  Cancer doesn't sleep so why should we?  Mrs. Jarrett walked/jogged 40 miles to mark 40 years as a survivor and all other members worked raffles, face-paint, ran relays, hung out, walked, ate and socialized.  It is a great event and we work hard all year to enjoy and celebrate our donation to American Cancer Society!
