    Report Cards

First and second grade classes in Berkeley County will now use a standards-based report card. This is a method of communicating student progress of foundational skills using a code instead of earning an average letter grade. You will receive feedback on your child’s academic progress through comments on Seesaw activities, rubrics, the number correct on assessments, etc. Schoology will no longer be utilized for grades and is for attendance purposes only.

    Safety

Safety is a top priority at our school. If your child is being picked up from school, the adult must show ID and be on the child’s emergency card. Evacuation and safety procedures are in place in the event of an emergency. During the school year all students and staff will participate in fire and safety drills regularly. In the event of a school evacuation, the students and staff will walk to the Marlowe Ruritan on Broad Lane or Harmony United Methodist Church on Rt. 11.
