Valley View Elementary Welcome Toolkit
Welcome to Our School
-
Dear Parent(s)/Guardian:
The administrators, faculty, and staff of Valley View Elementary School would like to welcome you to our school! Valley View Elementary believes in providing the highest quality of education for every student. To meet this goal, we routinely look at the academic progress of each child, and utilize differentiated activities to help meet individual needs. Through rigorous instruction and staff support, students are motivated to meet a high standard of academic and social expectations. The staff at Valley View Elementary School strives to cultivate students who are accountable, have integrity, and focus on excellence.
At the beginning of each month, our monthly newsletter – The Patriot Press – will be sent out electronically via Seesaw and NTOUCH. This newsletter will contain important information and dates of upcoming events at the school. We will also post the newsletter to our school website for easy access.
A partnership between the parents and the school is crucial to your child’s success. Please reiterate the importance of homework, listening, and speaking skills. We also encourage you to attend any family nights where we provide students with engaging activities to support their reading, math, and STEM skills. Joining our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is another great way to enhance our partnership.
We look forward to a great 2022 – 2023 school year. We thank you in advance for your support in making this school year a wonderful experience for our students.
Sincerely,
Mr. Sherrard, Principal
