Berkeley County Schools is offering BCS 101, an introductory community ambassador program designed to educate and instruct selected participants on such topics as curriculum and instruction, district operations, public school finance, technology implementation and other district administrative programs and services. To receive maximum benefits of the program, selected participants are expected to attend each session in its entirety.
At the conclusion of the program, participants will have a greater understanding of Berkeley County Schools as well as the challenges and opportunities presented to the district. Graduates of BCS 101 will be recognized by the Berkeley County Schools Board of Education. Through this effort, individuals will be equipped to serve as Ambassadors for Berkeley County Schools.
Applications will be available at each Berkeley County school, the Berkeley County Schools Administrative Office and on our website, www.berkeleycountyschools.org/bcs101. A maximum of 30 participants will be selected to participate in the program with preference given to the parents/guardians of students currently attending Berkeley County Schools. Selected participants for the BCS 101 Class will be notified.
