The Who & What
Dr. Timothy Rasinski, a professor of reading education at Kent State University and father of 4, will share practical and effective ways for parents to help their children become better and lifelong readers. Based on his own experiences with his children, he will focus on critical reading competencies of phonics (word decoding), vocabulary, and reading fluency and show how helping children with reading can be effective and fun.
A free light dinner buffet will be served from 5:45 - 6:30 p.m. for those attending the presentation.
Everyone attending will receive free materials to take home and use with your child. There will also be door prizes!
We’re sorry to inform you that children are not allowed to attend the event.
