Meet the Counselors
Hello. I am very excited to be a part of Mill Creek Intermediate as the full time counselor and cannot wait to meet each and every one of you! I graduated from George Mason University in 2013 with a B.A. in Psychology. I then went on to Liberty University where I completed my M.Ed. in School Counseling. I started as a School Counselor in Berkeley County in 2019.
I have lived in Berkeley County for about 5 years and am originally from a small town in Virginia. Prior to becoming a school counselor, I worked with parents in their homes and assisted them with activities and suggestions to help with their child's development.
I absolutely love working with children of all ages on their personal, social, and academic goals. I look forward to working with all the students, teachers, and staff to achieve their goals.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about our counseling program.
Mission & Vision
The school counseling program at Mill Creek Intermediate is designed to provide a safe, supportive atmosphere where students can attain personal/social, academic and career success through a collaborative partnership with other educators, families, and the community.
We work hand in hand to nurture the physical, emotional, and intellectual dimensions that enhance life-long learning and foster a positive self-esteem that leads to becoming productive members of our community.
Mill Creek Intermediate students will acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to maximize their full potential and successfully reach their full potential while managing their lives as healthy, responsible, competent, and productive citizens.
The School Counseling program focuses on the West Virginia Student Success Standards. Students will learn how to increase interpersonal and social skills, refine learning and work.
