• SMMS Local School Improvement Council

    Dear Parents,

West Virginia state legislature created a mandate in 2019 for our schools to create a Local School Improvement Council (LSIC) of elected educational stakeholders. The purpose of LSIC is to foster collaboration between parents, school staff, and students to promote the educational goals of the school. The council will meet a minimum of four times during the school year. The meetings are open to the public but only elected committe members may vote on motions. For this current school year, I am the elected chairperson. Please check back to this page for upcoming meeting dates, agendas, and minutes from prior meetings. You can contact me thorugh my school email, kgreenfi@k12.wv.us or by a Schoology mesage with any questions or concerns.

    Thank you,

    Karen Greenfield

    LSIC Chairperson
