SMMS Local School Improvement Council
Recently, West Virginia state legislature created a mandate for our Local School Improvement Council (LSIC) requiring an elected body of educational stakeholders in each school, summer of 2019. The purpose of LSIC is to foster collaboration between parents, school staff, and students to promote the educational goals of the school. The council will meet a minimum of four times during the school year. The meetings are open to the public but only elected committe members may vote on motions. For this current school year, I am the elected chairperson. Please check back to this page for upcoming meeting dates, agendas, and minutes from prior meetings. You can contact me thorugh my school email, email@example.com or by a Schoology mesage with any questions or concerns.
