Hello! My name is Deneil Busey, and I am a full-time school counselor at Orchard View Intermediate. Before becoming a school counselor, I taught for fourteen years in both elementary and middle school. Teaching and counseling students are some of my favorite things to do! I love helping kids see their potential and strengths! Plus, I always learn from them as well!

My other favorite things to do are running, hiking, and spending time with my family! If I can be outside, that is where I want to be! I love our mountain state and every year I take a trip through the state finding trails and mountains to explore. West Virginia has always been my home, but there is still so much to see! Even though I am busy with my students and family, I am proud of them both and love seeing them succeed!

My name is Jenifer Steen. I am a full-time counselor at Orchard View. This is my 16th year as a school counselor, but my first at OVI. Before working as a school counselor, I was a social worker in the panhandle for at-risk youth and foster children/families. I am devoted to the social and emotional growth of all students. I consider myself a lifelong learner and continuously challenge myself to improve my craft. Outside of school, I am a busy mom of three boys and spend most of my time at baseball and basketball games. I am an extreme Mountaineer fan and love college football. I love to spend time with my family and being outside. Being a part of a child's education is a humbling, powerful gift. I am grateful to be sharing that with OVI students and families. Thank you for the opportunity.
