The new Mountain Ridge Primary School is a critical bond project that will address the rapidly growing population of South Berkeley County. Ground was broken on the project in April 2025, and construction is expected to be complete in time to welcome students for the 2026-2027 school year. The school will serve approximately 500 students in Grades K-2 and will help address rapid growth in the South Berkeley community.
