Berkeley County Schools is excited to partner with the Cook Center for Human Connection and their Mental Health and Wellness Resource Center: ParentGuidance.org. This is a free family support library for all families with a trusted place to go for qualified answers to the toughest parenting and childcare challenges from the premier therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists in their respective specialties, who offer compassionate, anonymous, and supportive guidance for you and your children. Free parent coaching, on-demand courses, and ask a therapist function.

This FREE resource offers over 50 courses in English and Spanish created and given by licensed clinicians addressing topics like: Anxiety, Depression, Self-Harm, Bullying, Social Media, Substance Abuse, Grief and Loss, etc. Visit ParentGuidance.org today!

The Martinsburg Initiative - HOME

The Martinsburg Initiative runs the House on Martin for Everyone (HOME), a free service providing students and families with food, clothing, baby products, and household goods.

BackPack Program

The Berkeley County Back Pack Program is a free service provided by the Berkeley County community and the Feeding America BackPack program.  This program provides free food items for families in need.

Project Aware

Project Aware is a school-funded program that provides free mental health counseling on-site in the school setting.

Talk-to-Me Program

The Talk-to-Me Program is a free program available to all students.  

This program provides volunteers from the community who offer a "listening ear" to students.  Volunteers are available regularly throughout the school year and can be requested by the student or parent/guardian.
