  • 8/07/20: What is the maximum size of classrooms? Is this based on physical room size or is there going to be a maximum per child limit?

  • 8/07/20: How will social distancing be maintained in classrooms with the entire in-person cohort attending school every day?

  • 8/07/20: If very few students choose the “click” option how will social distancing be managed in the classroom?

  • 8/07/20: What is the anticipated response rate for the daily health screening survey?

  • 8/07/20: The plan indicates that students will not have their temperature taken until they arrive at school. How does this protect the bus driver and other students on the bus if they are found to have a fever after getting to school? They have now exposed every person on that bus. Why are temperatures not being taken before boarding the bus?

  • 8/05/20: What happens if a student or teacher in their core class tests positive? Does this mean that everyone in this class will need a 14 day quarantine?

  • 8/05/20: Will students participate in physical education class where the students will be allowed to be active? Is there going to be recess where the children will be allowed to be active?

  • 8/05/20: Are middle and high schoolers switching classes or are they going to be in 1 classroom all day?

  • 8/05/20: What will happen if students refuse to wear a mask or sanitize their hands before entering a classroom?

  • 8/05/20: How does the school district plan to handle the contact tracing of expected or suspected exposure to a person with Covid-19?

  • 8/05/20: The language on the BCS website indicates when students are outside of their core groups masks will be required. What does this mean and how does it allow for students to not wear a mask around vulnerable members of the school population?

  • 8/05/20: Will there be any group projects or group discussions during class time?

  • 8/05/20: Will the children be able to talk to or socialize with their friends at all?

  • 8/05/20: Will students be required to wear a mask the entire time they are in the school building?

  • 8/05/20: Will the children remain in the same class with the same students all day and the teachers rotate?

  • 8/05/20: Will "Shields/ guards" be placed around desks and in front of teachers?

  • 7/31/20: Will there ever be a situation where a negative COVID test is required?

  • 7/31/20: How are transfer buses being handled in regards to cleaning between schools?

  • 7/31/20: How will we determine which exposed students are required to quarantine when an outbreak occurs?

  • 7/31/20: How will teachers know which students are exempt from wearing face coverings due to medical waivers verses students not wearing face coverings because they don’t want to?

  • 7/31/20: How often will students get to leave the classroom or will they be required to stay in the same room during the entire school day?

  • 7/31/20: If students go to brick learning, are face coverings required all day long?

  • 7/31/20: Will face coverings be worn at all times for intermediate, middle and high school students due to the frequency of class changes?

  • 7/31/20: : The sample school schedules show abbreviated days for students, does this indicate that extra cleaning will occur in each school? Will there be an increased number of custodians hired to help with the extra cleaning?

  • 7/31/20: : Has BCS reviewed a random sample of classrooms to measure for appropriate social distancing for students?

  • 7/31/20: If the BRICK option is chosen, how many students will be in each class?

  • If a student or staff member test positive for COVID-19, how will the District respond and communicate with families?
