Dr. Darin Gilpin, Vice-President

Dr. Gilpin is a Berkeley County native and received a bachelor's degree in Animal Science from West Virginia University and a doctorate in veterinary medicine from The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. He is vice president of Shenandoah Veterinary Hospital in Martinsburg. Active in the community, Dr. Gilpin is serving as a member and past president of Sunrise Rotary Club, served on the board of the Martinsburg-Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce and on the Eastern Panhandle Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club. He has had the honor of serving as the moderator at the American Veterinary Medical Association Leadership Conference. He is also a past president of the West Virginia Veterinary Medical Association. He is a former Board Member and a member of the West Virginia Veterinary Medical Association, The American Animal Hospital Association, WVU Eastern Panhandle Alumni Association and is a past member of the WVU National Alumni Association Board of Directors. Dr. Gilpin is also on the visiting committee for the Davis College at WVU.  He has been a Berkeley County Schools’ board member since 2010.  In 2014, his second term on the school board, he served as Vice President.  He is beginning his elenenth year on the Board.  He and his wife Corinna have three daughters. His email is
