MARTINSBURG, WV – Twelve Berkeley County Schools’ Students Earn West Virginia All-State Band Honors
Band students from all four Berkeley County high schools recently participated in a rigorous state-wide competition seeking All-State Band honors. This annual event is a showcase and competition of the finest band students in the state of West Virginia. Following auditions, twelve Berkeley County Schools’ students earned All-State honors.
Savannah Brumbaugh, Flute – Musselman High School
Georgea Luedtke, Oboe – Hedgesville High School
Emma Shockey, Bassoon – Musselman High School
Sydney Cunningham, Bassoon – Musselman High School
Julia O'Neil, Clarinet – Musselman High School
Amy Heise, Alto Sax - Spring Mills High School
Jacob Zimmerman, Horn - Spring Mills High School
Daniel Jennison, Trumpet –Musselman High School
Quincy Williams, Trumpet – Martinsburg High School
Matthew Price, Trumpet- Musselman High School
Jeremiah Woodfork, Euphonium – Martinsburg High School
Veronica Power, Trombone- Spring Mills High School
These students will participate in the West Virginia Music Educators Association in-service and conference in Charleston March 7-9, 2019. Students will rehearse under the baton of Dr. Jack Stamp, music professor at University of Wisconsin, and perform at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 9th at the Charleston Municipal Auditorium.
