Friday, May 22 will be the inflatables portion of field day. Students will have Kona Ice, rotate through the bounce house and obstacle course, and play with bubbles. Socks and easy on/off shoes are helpful for getting in and out of the bounce houses. There is still a chance of rain on Friday and the day will be much cooler. We suggest applying sunscreen before school and sending a change of clothes just in case.
If you would like to volunteer at a station Friday morning please arrive at 8:45. There are only a few stations since we moved the water portion, so we cannot guarantee you will see your student’s class but we invite anyone interested to come spend some time outside with us! Volunteers should park in the main parking lot and enter at the office. You will meet us outside at the pavilion. All groups will be finished at the inflatables by 11:30.

Due to forecasted inclement weather on Friday, the water portions of field day have been moved to Wednesday, May 20. All stations will occur in the morning. Please send your student with a full change of clothes, a towel, and a water bottle tomorrow. Sunscreen should be applied before your student leaves for school as we are not allowed to apply it for students.

If you are able to help at a water station tomorrow morning please message the school or Mrs. Wehmeyer on SeeSaw. Thank you for your understanding of schedule changes as we navigate
this extremely busy time of year and attempt to celebrate all our students and their hard work this school year.

Career Day is coming up on Tuesday! Students will learn about different jobs and careers in our community.
If you do not want your child to participate in the Career Day activities that involve animals, please return the opt-out permission slip that is coming home today, as soon as possible.
Students are also invited to dress up as what they would like to be when they grow up! This is optional, but we would love to see their future career ideas.
Thank you for your support!
