It's book fair week! Your student will visit the book fair with their library class to shop if they brought money and also just to see the books available and experience the book fair. Students may bring money for shopping any day this week and Mrs. Wehmeyer and her helpers will do their best to get students into the book fair for shopping as soon as possible. Pre-K may also send in book fair money and Mrs. Wehmeyer and her helper will get out to the Pre-K classrooms to bring Pre-K students in to shop as soon as possible. All Bedington families are invited to shop together during family night on Wednesday, September 27 from 4-6 PM. Friday, September 29 is the last day to shop the book fair. Did you know September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month? Bedington will have a Go Gold Day on Wednesday, September 13 to honor all children and families dealing with childhood cancer. We invite all students and staff to wear gold to show support.

Governor Jim Justice has issued a proclamation officially declaring Monday, July 3, 2023, as a state holiday in West Virginia and creating a full holiday for state employees.
In special observance of West Virginia's Independence Day holidays, all Berkeley County Schools and offices will be closed on Monday, July 3, 2023, and Tuesday, July 4, 2023.
