Reminder: Orientation Tonight | 5–7 p.m. We’re excited to welcome both new and returning students as we kick off a great school year!
Orientation Date Change: We’re excited to welcome you soon—but our building is still getting its final “makeover” before students arrive, including heating and air updates and bathroom renovations. Orientation will now be held on Monday, August 18 from 5–7 p.m. We apologize for the change and appreciate your flexibility as we work to make sure our school looks its very best for the first day!
All Berkeley County Schools (BCS) offices and summer school programs will be open as scheduled on Thursday, July 3. BCS will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. We wish all our families a safe and enjoyable long weekend!

This is a reminder that all Berkeley County Schools (PreK-12) will operate on a 2-Hour Delay on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, due to a Faculty Senate Day.
Our first-grade spring program “We’re Making Music” will be presented today, April 3, at 2:00PM in the Burke Street School cafeteria. Doors will open at 1:30PM.
