NURSE NOTES - IMPORTANT REMINDERS FROM NURSE ERICKA
Students MUST be up to date with immunization requirements PRIOR to coming to school on Monday, August 19th. This means that any new enrolling student must have proof of all required vaccines, and current students need to be up to date on all required immunizations to begin the '24-'25 school year. These vaccines include: DTAP, Polio, Hep B, MMR and Varicella. Please reach out to your student's primary healthcare provider to ensure these vaccines are up to date.
Medications: Any medications, whether prescription or over the counter, require a medication administration order form to be completed by a healthcare provider before they can be administered at school. This includes cough drops, medicated creams and sunblock. If you have any questions please contact your school nurse at Burke Street Elementary. We are looking forward to a healthy and successful school year.
