Hedgesville High Welcome Toolkit

Welcome to Our School

I am honored and thrilled to introduce myself as the new principal of Hedgesville High School. My name is Angie Milliman, and I have been part of the HHS school community for the last 19 years first as a French teacher and then as an assistant principal. It is with great enthusiasm that I look forward to working together, in my new role, with the students, parents, teachers, and staff to continue the tradition of excellence at Hedgesville High School.

I am committed to ensuring that every student at Hedgesville High School receives a high-quality education. My goal is to support and empower our students to achieve their fullest potential, both academically and personally.

I believe that a collaborative approach is essential for the success of our school. I am eager to hear your thoughts, ideas, and aspirations for our school community. Together, we can create a supportive and challenging learning environment where every student feels valued and inspired to excel.

As we embark on this new journey, I am dedicated to upholding the values and traditions that make Hedgesville High School unique. At the same time, I am committed to implementing programs that will prepare our students for the challenges and opportunities of the future.

I encourage you to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or suggestions you may have. Your input is invaluable, and I am here to listen and work together to make our school the best it can be.

Thank you for welcoming me as Principal of Hedgesville High School. I am excited about the journey ahead and look forward to working with each of you.

Warm Regards,

Angie Milliman

Where to Take Your Questions & Concerns

Berkeley County Schools values open and respectful communication to ensure questions and concerns are addressed quickly and effectively.

Safety concerns should always be reported immediately to the school principal or law enforcement. Staff, families, and community members are also welcome to share concerns with the Board of Education; these concerns will first be directed to the appropriate staff member, department, or the Superintendent for resolution. We believe the most effective communication happens directly—by phone or email—rather than on social media. To connect with the right person as quickly as possible, please use the staff directory or the chatbot feature on our website.
