Mission & Vision

Vision Statement

The vision of the Inwood Primary School comprehensive school counseling program is that all students possess the academic, social, and emotional knowledge to be successful in all aspects of life. Our students are lifelong learners that understand the need for academic success and have the tools to achieve it. They appreciate and respect diversity, use empathy and critical thinking in daily life, and strive to make the world a better place. They have ambitious goals and feel supported in their endeavors. They understand the need for mental well-being and physical health to prepare them for limitless opportunities.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Inwood Primary School counseling program is to provide a safe, supportive, inclusive, and adaptive learning environment so that every student is given the opportunity to learn and succeed. We emphasize multiple pathways to success and seek to understand the unique needs of each student. We pursue diversity, strive to remove barriers, and encourage exploration and curiosity. By participating in the comprehensive school counseling program, our students develop academic, social-emotional, and life skills that prepare them to tackle life’s obstacles and opportunities. Our program helps foster curiosity for the future: college, career, and beyond.
