OES was placed on Code SECURE this afternoon due to a traffic stop on school property. Law enforcement gave the all clear soon after, and dismissal proceeded as usual.

All Berkeley County Schools (BCS) offices and summer school programs will be open as scheduled on Thursday, July 3. BCS will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. We wish all our families a safe and enjoyable long weekend!

Please join us tomorrow, Thurs., May 8th from 5:30-7:00 for our Touch a Truck event! We have 12 large vehicles lined up! Students will be able to get in the vehicles, take photos, learn more about how they're used, and have fun with the Chick-Fil-A cow too! Hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be available for purchase.
