A few things for the week and for when we return from spring break... *The PTA Egg Hunt is this evening beginning promptly at 5:30 PM for all grades. Kindergarten and 1st Grade will be on the playground and 2nd and 3rd Grade students will be in the front yard of the school. (Please remember that there is additional parking at Westview Baptist Church.) Please be sure that your child brings a basket or bag to collect eggs. There will be a baked goods donation tomorrow in conjunction with the Egg Hunt. These donations will be used to help supplement the cost for students for the upcoming 3rd Grade Field Trip to Luray Caverns. *Spring Break for all students begins on Friday, March 29 - Sunday, April 7th. *April 8th - 2 Hour Early Dismissal for all students due to Faculty Senate *Please be sure to check out our April Newsletter. I know it is a little early, but I wanted to share it before spring break. It is packed full of information for the month of April and gives a look ahead to some important dates in May. The WV Board of Education requires all schools to engage in continuous school improvement. In doing so schools should engage in a data-driven school climate planning process, identify its needs, and work to increase school safety and create a positive learning environment. To support that process, schools will be doing surveys to gather information about the learning and teaching environment, the health and well-being of students, and supports for parents, school staff, and students that foster learning and success. Knowing how you feel about your child’s school is an extremely important part of improving schools, so we are inviting you to fill out a parent/guardian survey. The survey is completely voluntary. Although we value your opinion and hope that you will participate, you may choose not to, or to not answer any question on the survey you do not want to answer. Also, you are not asked to provide your name or any other identifying information. You can access the parent survey online through April 12th. Please follow the link below. Thank you!
