Our team here at Valley View Elementary School is excited to welcome you! As the new Principal here at VVES, I am especially happy to start a new chapter with the students, families, and staff of this fantastic school.

Here at Valley View Elementary School, we are redoubling our efforts to provide targeted instruction and enrichment that prepares our students for both their transition to intermediate school and third grade GSA testing, as well as their long-term success. We believe in motivating children to achieve at a rigorous level and to have fun while they work hard.

We will continue to send out our weekly newsletter—The Patriot Press— at the beginning of each week via Seesaw. This newsletter will contain important information and dates of upcoming events at the school. We will also continue to post the newsletter to our school website for easy access. In addition, you will receive weekly communications from me summarizing the great work happening here each week along with important reminders to post on your calendars at home.

Here is how you can have a direct impact on your student’s success; partner with us!

We know from years of experience and research that when schools, families, and local communities unite, our kids enjoy greater success in everything they do. Please partner with our teachers to supervise the daily completion of homework together and to reinforce important skills like listening and speaking. We strongly encourage you to attend as many school events as possible including family nights, school productions, and concerts. We especially hope you will join our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and bring your professional and personal contributions to bear to make Valley View Elementary School the successful envy of the area.
