All Berkeley County Schools (BCS) offices and summer school programs will be open as scheduled on Thursday, July 3. BCS will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. We wish all our families a safe and enjoyable long weekend!

I want to inform you that a Code SECURE was initiated at approximately 8:15 AM today due to an individual behaving inappropriately toward parents and staff outside the school. Law enforcement was contacted immediately, and the situation was quickly resolved. There was no threat to student safety. The Code SECURE was lifted at 9:00 AM, and the school day continued as normal. As always, the safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
