Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to South Middle School. Home of the Trojans! The 2023-2024 school year will be an exciting learning experience for all students. Students will participate in a variety of learning experiences throughout the school year. The goal will be for all students to be successful.

The success of the whole child is a priority at South Middle School. AIR (Accountability, Integrity, and Responsibility) leads to academic excellence and moral values. Each student will be accountable for his/her actions, achieve with integrity, and show respect to self and others.

The staff at South Middle School want to partner with parents throughout the school year. Participation in the child's education can be done by checking grades on Schoology, participating in Parent-Teacher conferences, overseeing homework, checking and discussing graded class work, and checking the report card.
