It's book fair week! Your student will visit the book fair with their library class to shop if they brought money and also just to see the books available and experience the book fair. Students may bring money for shopping any day this week and Mrs. Wehmeyer and her helpers will do their best to get students into the book fair for shopping as soon as possible. Pre-K may also send in book fair money and Mrs. Wehmeyer and her helper will get out to the Pre-K classrooms to bring Pre-K students in to shop as soon as possible. All Bedington families are invited to shop together during family night on Wednesday, September 27 from 4-6 PM. Friday, September 29 is the last day to shop the book fair. Thank you for supporting the Bedington book fair which supports the Bedington library!

Governor Jim Justice has issued a proclamation officially declaring Monday, July 3, 2023, as a state holiday in West Virginia and creating a full holiday for state employees.
In special observance of West Virginia's Independence Day holidays, all Berkeley County Schools and offices will be closed on Monday, July 3, 2023, and Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

Ron Stephens has been sworn in as the next Superintendent for Berkeley County Schools.

After serving one year in the interim role, Mr. Ronald E. Stephens IV was sworn in as our next Superintendent of Schools by the Honorable Judge Debra McLaughlin of the 23rd Judicial Circuit at Monday's Regular Board of Education Meeting.
Mr. Stephens is a 30+ year veteran educator with more than 20 years of service to Berkeley County Schools. He and his wife Joette, also a 30+ year veteran educator, have three sons, who are all BCS graduates.
