Every year West Virginia holds a statewide tornado drill. This years occurs March 20th, 2024 (today). The purpose of the drill is to test emergency alert systems, give folks a look at what would happen in a tornado emergency, and allows residents to practice what to do if a tornado warning was issued for your area.
ESI practiced this drill today at 10:30AM.
