Mandated Reporting

As a reminder to Berkeley County Schools' employees and volunteers, we are ALL mandated reporters of child abuse and neglect. 

Child abuse is defined as "mistreatment or neglect of a child by a parent, guardian, or other caregiver, including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse"

Take Action Now: Complete Mandated Reporting Training

Please visit the BCS SafeSchools training portal and complete the Child Abuse: Mandatory Reporting training for additional information (this is mandated training for ALL employees).
