National Honor Society is a national organization that promotes and recognizes character, scholarship, service and leadership in students.

Please review the following SMHS Chapter information thoroughly and discuss the content with your student and/or parent/guardian.

The purpose of this chapter shall be to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character.
