This morning, a threatening comment about violence toward the school, sent in a group chat, was reported to administration. School Safety and Resource Officers immediately investigated and conducted a thorough walk-through of the building. They determined there was no danger to students or staff.
The student who sent the message has been identified, and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken in accordance with school policies.
The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority. I want to thank those who promptly reported the concern, which allowed us to respond quickly and effectively.
Please take a moment to remind your student about the importance of making responsible choices. Inappropriate comments or threats carry serious consequences.
