Olweus Bullying Prevention Program

Berkeley County Schools has adopted the Olweus (pronounced Ol-VAY-us) Bullying Prevention Program (OBPP) as the district’s tool to

(1) reduce and prevent bullying behaviors among students,

(2) to prevent the development of new bullying behaviors and

(3) to improve peer relations at school. 

The program is currently being implemented in intermediate and middle schools with the goal of extending the program to all school levels.
