I want to inform you about a situation that occurred today. A student reported that another student altered song lyrics in a way that included threatening language. Administration and our School Safety Officer addressed the situation immediately, and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken in accordance with school policies.
The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. I appreciate those who promptly reported the concern, allowing us to respond quickly and effectively.
Please take a moment to talk with your students about the importance of making positive behavioral choices. Inappropriate actions or threats carry serious consequences.

All Berkeley County Schools (BCS) offices and summer school programs will be open as scheduled on Thursday, July 3. BCS will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. We wish all our families a safe and enjoyable long weekend!

Great news! Our yearbooks have finally arrived! If you preordered a yearbook, please come by Friday, June 6, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to pick them up.
We will have more dates and opportunities the week of June 16-18. If you didn't order a yearbook, we will offer the limited number we have during the June 16-18 dates.
