Welcome to the Berkeley County Schools Pre-K Program!

We look forward to welcoming all Pre-K students and families to BCS next week. If your student was recently enrolled, August 11 or after, we are processing those enrollments. Contacts with families will continue to be made over the next two weeks regarding the placement and start date. We appreciate your patience as we are experiencing a high number of Pre-K calls and inquiries.

For families who have received notice of student's placement, you should anticipate receiving a call from the child's teacher this week, before Friday, August 18. Again, we appreciate your patience and look forward to welcoming our newest learners to the BCS Family.

Overview

The Berkeley County Schools’ Pre-K Program is designed to develop children's social and emotional growth by offering a range of experiences based on the WV Early Learning Standards. Pre-K offers a balance of activities, including active and quiet times, large and small group activities, center/choice times, indoor and outdoor gross motor times, and child-initiated and teacher-planned activities. This is not a first-come, first-placed, program.
