Please read this important update related to bus routes for the afternoon of 9/6:
- Bus 414 is taking Bus 406 students home.
- Bus 234 is taking Bus 460's Dillon Farms students home.
- Bus 410 is taking all other students for Bus 460 home.
- Bus 490 is canceled.

In accordance with state Integrated Pest Management laws this notice is being sent to notify you that a Level 4 pesticide application will take place on Tuesday, September 5th between 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Tomahawk for yellowjackets. No students will be on premises during the application of this spray.

Governor Jim Justice has issued a proclamation officially declaring Monday, July 3, 2023, as a state holiday in West Virginia and creating a full holiday for state employees.
In special observance of West Virginia's Independence Day holidays, all Berkeley County Schools and offices will be closed on Monday, July 3, 2023, and Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

Ron Stephens has been sworn in as the next Superintendent for Berkeley County Schools.


After serving one year in the interim role, Mr. Ronald E. Stephens IV was sworn in as our next Superintendent of Schools by the Honorable Judge Debra McLaughlin of the 23rd Judicial Circuit at Monday's Regular Board of Education Meeting.
Mr. Stephens is a 30+ year veteran educator with more than 20 years of service to Berkeley County Schools. He and his wife Joette, also a 30+ year veteran educator, have three sons, who are all BCS graduates.

The learning never stops at Summer SOLE! Students are learning new skills by creating letters with their own printing press made from potatoes. Thank you to Mrs. Sonya Shockey for engaging students in this fun activity!
