We believe that it is our job to develop lifelong learners who value themselves and others, contribute to their community, and succeed in a changing world. To help you achieve the goals of our school, we encourage these guidelines:

  • Be on time & prepared for class

  • Complete all assignments & homework

  • Protect school property & equipment

  • Dress appropriately for school

  • Be a lady or a gentleman at all times

  • Respect the rights & privileges of students & faculty

  • Conduct yourself in & out of school in such a manner as to be above criticism

Where to Take Your Questions & Concerns

Berkeley County Schools values open and respectful communication to ensure questions and concerns are addressed quickly and effectively.

Safety concerns should always be reported immediately to the school principal or law enforcement. Staff, families, and community members are also welcome to share concerns with the Board of Education; these concerns will first be directed to the appropriate staff member, department, or the Superintendent for resolution. We believe the most effective communication happens directly—by phone or email—rather than on social media.
