Parent Process and Checklist for Pre-K Student Registration
2026-2027 Pre-K Enrollment Screenings
Berkeley County Schools is required to screen all students enrolling in Pre-Kindergarten for potential hearing, vision, and communication needs. The Office of Pre-K Programs is offering early screening appointments to meet you and your child and ensure all students are prepared for a successful start.
These screenings also provide families with an opportunity to ask general questions about Pre-K programs and services. Each appointment takes approximately 20–30 minutes.
If you have already registered using the screening form, you do not need to register again. We look forward to seeing you in May.
