As we begin the 2025-2026 school year, I would like to extend a warm welcome and thank you for your continued partnership in educating the students of Berkeley County Schools. The Berkeley County Schools Student Handbook outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and supports that guide our school communities. It is more than a reference guide, it is a shared understanding of how we work together to promote respect, responsibility, and academic focus. By fostering consistent expectations, we help ensure that every student has the opportunity to grow, learn, and succeed.

We ask that you take time to review the handbook with your child and reinforce the importance of treating others with courtesy, engaging in learning with purpose and contributing to a positive and respectful school environment. These values, when reinforced at home and in school, form the core of a successful learning experience.

Should you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s school experience, I encourage you to first reach out to your child’s school. Our principals, teachers, counselors, and support staff are well-equipped to meet the needs of our students and to respond promptly to any issues or challenges that may arise.
